Peterborough Pool Association

Hello All

Peterborough Pool Association player John Roe excelled in the Hertfordshire Tour over the weekend.
He beat No.1 seed Mark Thrussell 6 - 1 in the quarter final, followed by a 7 - 2 win in the semi final
against professional player Steve Petitt.
His opponent in the final was Cambridgeshire County player and UK ranked No.2 Phil Harrison.
In a close fought contest John came out the winner 9 - 7.
John collected £1000 prize money for his efforts.
Players like John are putting Peterborough on the map making a lot of people sit up and
take notice of the talented players we have here.
Well done John from the P.P.A.

Cheers
Ron

Hello All

After numerous emails and telephone messages Jeff Fenner (results secretary ?) is refusing to complete the seasons tables and rankings.

I would be obliged if you could bear with us while we telephone around to get the last 2 weeks results together this will enable us to finalise the divisional tables.

However we will not be able to finalise the player rankings as he will not hand over the scorecards to enable us to complete them, so this season there will be no Rankings Certificates.

He has also in his possession a large sum of money which he has not handed over to the Treasurer, he has made a lot of excuses to us when on reflection we should not have believed but when you only meet once a month the time soon drifts by and we find ourselves in this position.

The committee have decided to suspend Jeff Fenner from all events organised by the P.P.A. until  legal proceedings are complete.

We have taken measures to ensure that this situation should not occur again.

Cheers
Ron
